Salon de Ledoux is a small architectural sculpture that specifically responds to the unique models of cells and inner plant structures hold by the scientific collection of the University of Montpellier. De- and re-constructing architectural elements that reoccur in the proposals of French Neoclassical architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, Salon de Ledoux engages with the formal and conceptual qualities of these science models to propose a new interpretation of utopian architecture, an architecture in constant flow and change.

Salon de Ledoux has been developed from Post-Specimen, an international collaborative research project initiated by Wolfgang Weileder.
